Churches located on the eastern area of the Santa Fe River Association agreed to organize in 1872 the New River Baptist Association. The association’s name was selected in honor of the New River Baptist Church of Columbia county which had been the mother church for many of the churches that formed the new association. The association’s churches were scattered across Columbia, Bradford and Union counties of north central Florida.
Provided are digital copies of the annual reports of the association (for the years noted below) that includes: the proceedings of the annual meeting(s); statistical information on its cooperating churches; and reports on the missionary, ministerial and ministry training activities provided by the association.
