LARRY YARBOROUGH
Larry Yarborough is a native of Franklin, Tennessee. He graduated from Samford University (B. A.), Southern Baptist Theological Seminary (M. Div.), and Columbia Theological Seminary (D. Min.). He served as pastor of First Baptist Church, Gallatin, Tennessee (2005-2015) for ten years and became pastor of Deermeadows Baptist Church, Jacksonville, in 2015. He and his wife Diana have three children.

NANCY YARBROUGH
Nancy Yarbrough (1928-2014) graduated from Stetson University, DeLand and New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. She served as a Southern Baptist Convention missionary for 25 years to Nigeria, and was a teacher for over 20 years at the Clairmont Child Development Center. Yarbrough and her husband had two children.

W. Floyd Yarbrough (1932-2021) was born in Sumner, Georgia. He served as pastor of Knights Baptist Church, Plant City, 1964-1969, First Baptist Church, LaBelle, 1971 and Main Street Baptist Church, Bartow, 1973-1974. Yarbrough and his wife, Margie Yarbrough, (1935-1995) had three children. At the time of his death, he was married to Elizabeth “Midge” Brock Yarbrough.

Aaron Yates is the son of Don D. and Helen Yates. He graduated from the Baptist College of Florida. Yates serves as pastor of Northside Baptist Church, Apopka. He and his wife, Amanda Yates have four children.

Ben Yeargan attended Stetson University. He served as pastor of Wells Memorial Baptist Church, Tampa (now Palm River), 1927-1930; First Baptist Church, Barberville, 1939; First Baptist Church, Longwood, 1940-1941; and Alafia Baptist Church, 1946-1947.

PHILIP M. YEARGAN
Phillip M. Yeargan (March 30, 1883-May 30, 1954) was born in Alabama. He married Eula Wilkinson on December 26, 1909, and they had three boys;
Omer, Philip and Julian. The family moved to Altoona, Florida, in 1923 or 1924. He was a bi-vocational pastor and had a rolling store and portable sawmill to make a living. Yeargan served as pastor at Altoona, Serrento, and Lindale in Lake County. He served as pastor of Elecha, Ocklawaha Bridge,
Eureka, Oak-Griner, Deland Grove, Citra, Anthony, and Fairfield in Marion County. He was pastor at Fairfield when he died.

DANIEL JOHN YEARY
Daniel John Yeary, (1938-2020) was born in Miami, OK, to John and Eileen Yeary. He graduated from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. In 1975, he was called to University Baptist Church in Coral Gables, Fla., as senior pastor. He and wife, Melinda Millican, had three children.

Raymond Yeater (1911-2006) was born in Altoona, PA. He served as pastor of Gapway Baptist Church. Yeater and his wife, Ruth E. Yeater had one son.

JACK YELVINGTON
Jack Yelvington was ordained by the First Baptist Church, Atlanta, Georgia in 1959. He attended Baylor University and Florida State University. Yelvington served as pastor of Telogia Baptist Church, Flat Creek Baptist Church, Greensboro, Westside Baptist Church, Zephyrhills, Southside Baptist Church, and Open Bible Baptist Church, Tampa. He married Vera Mercer in 1964.

JOSEPH YIM
Joseph Yim was a native of Hong Kong. He came to the United States in 1957. He graduated from the University of Miami and was ordained by the Flagler Street Baptist Church. Yim served as pastor of the Chinese Department of Flagler Street for two years before leaving to attend New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. He married Maria Cheng in 1962.

A. J. York (1842-1938) was born in Franklin County, Georgia. He served as a cavalryman in the Spanish-American War. York served as pastor of First Baptist Church, Pahokee from 1922-1923.

T. H. YORK
T. H. York ( -1962) attended Georgia Tech and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He served as pastor of Armenia Avenue Baptist Church, Tampa, First Baptist Church, Mango, Drexel Baptist Church, Lutz, and First Baptist Church, Port Tampa City. York and his wife served with the Home Mission Board as missionaries to the Italians in Tampa. The York’s also served as missionaries to the Ute Indians in White Rock, Utah and the Indians in Canton, Oklahoma.

ALLEN E. YOUNG
Allen E. Young (1907-1988) served as a Florida Baptist pastor for more than 50 years. He was ordained by Ballast Point Baptist Church in Tampa to serve as pastor of Drexell mission which later became First Baptist Church of Land O Lakes. He served as pastor of First Baptist Church in Elfers, New Zion near Wauchula, and Calvary in Dade City. He was also pastor of First Baptist Church in Boynton Beach, Ozoma, Alachua, and Lake Butler. He served at Westside in Lake Wales and Hopewell in Madison. He and his wife, Ruth Olive Burton Young, had four children, Betty, Ellen, Mazie, and Paul.

BILLY YOUNG
Billy Young serves as the Next Generation Ministries Lead Catalyst for the Florida Baptist Convention. He graduated from the University of Florida, New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary and Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. Young serves as pastor of Hopeful Baptist Church, Lake City. He and his wife Denise have three daughters.

Carl Young died March 29, 2000, at his home in Ponce de Leon. He had served for 31 years as the bi-vocational pastor of four churches in Holmes,
Walton, and Washington counties. He and his wife, Florence Chambers Young, had five children.

WILLIAM YOUNG
William Young (1821-1894) died in 1894. He was a helper in the organization of the Bushnell Church. Young was born in Laurens County, South Carolina on February 11, 1821. He was baptized on April 3, 1842, and ordained to the ministry in 1844. Young died on June 22, 1894.
